“The List”

For the past few years I have been making a list of things to do in that year. Fun things. Things I have never done. Things to just keep the year lively. It’s fun to be able to cross things off the list and see how much you have done over the year. Unfortunately I have not done such a good job in accomplishing my list the last 2 years. I am determined to do better in 2009…drum roll please…here is the list of 109 things to do in ’09.

1.Finish my book

2. Pay down my credit cards

3. Go on a road trip

4. Stay on the Queen Mary

5. Be a vegetarian for a week

6. Make a wishing tree

7. Complete a puzzle

8. Learn German

9. Learn to sew

10. Go on a hot air balloon ride

11. Go to Disneyland

12. Visit Giannina in Colorado

13. Order myself a birthday cake

14. Have a bonfire/make smores

15. Fly a kite

16. Start a friendship journal

17. Organize a potluck supper

18. Go to San Francisco

19. Ride on a train

20. Learn CPR

21. See a therapist

22. Go beach camping

23. Climb Half Dome

24. Write/Record a song

25. Read 12 new books

26. Raise my credit score

27. Go on the alpine slide in Big Bear

28. Bake a cake from scratch

29. Take a dance class

30. Have my portrait painted

31. Submit an article to a magazine

32. Learn to french braid

33. Go to a tattoo convention

34. Visit Catalina

35. Get my own place

36. Eat at 12 new restarants

37. Have a slumber party for my girlfriends

40. Stay in a cabin in Mt. Baldy

42. Bake and decorate cookies

Well…there ya go. It’s January 5th and I have done 3 things so far (tattoo convention–more on that later–started a bank and started a quote book). As I do things I will cross them off the list here. I am determined this year!!!
